Beltane Coronation - Kingdom of the West (Cloverdale, CA)

Their Majesties invite one and all to come and bear witness to the coronation of Their heirs. Come celebrate the grand traditions of the West with courts, arts & sciences, fighting, singing, dancing, and archery. Activities will include the Bard of the West competition, the Kingdom Archer Championship, a Live Chess Game, and the annual Beltane Maypole dance.

If you are not camping, there are some hotels in Cloverdale, which is about 30 minutes east from site, and Ukiah which is about 40 minutes north of site, and some Bed & Breakfast places in Boonville. Call ahead for reservations.

No Ground fires; only contained, attended and above-ground fires with a fire extinguisher within 20 feet are allowed. We are restricted to the areas we have rented; do not go into the hills or woods surrounding the site as this is where the owner has put the sheep for the duration of the event. Absolutely no pets are allowed on site. ADA service animals in ADA vest and on leash at all times are allowed. Contact Autocrat ahead of time please. There is no guarantee of water on site, however, there may be one usable spigot with hose near the list field. All other spigots & the creek are not potable.

Site Information: Marie Hill Ranch, 43700 Highway 128, Cloverdale , CA 95425.

Fee: $12 for members, $17 for non-members. Ages 12 and under are free. Families (2 adults, plus minor children) are $36. Please make checks payable to “SCA, Inc – Kingdom of the West.”

Site open: Noon on Friday. Site close: 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Merchants will be allowed in at 10:00 a.m. Friday.

Directions: Make your best way to Highway 101. From the north or south, take Highway 101 to Cloverdale, take the Highway 128 WEST/ Boonville exit. Follow Highway 128 for about12.5 miles. The site will be on the right side of the road.
