Join the Shire of Windy Meades for a day of archery in the woods! Shooting events will include the hunt, shooting to the mark at 90 and 140 yards, and several novelty targets. Novelty targets will include our swooping dragons, pop-up targets, a shoot through the castle window, shooting the spiders on their web, a turn table of targets, plague rats, and a moving boar. Some loaner archery equipment will be available.
The shire will be providing stew, bread, and cheese with a potluck side board for lunch.

Yolo County Grasslands Regional Park (30475 County Road 104, Davis CA 95616)
Do not use GPS with the address. It does not send you to the right place. Use 'Mace Blvd. at Tremont Road'.
Take I-80 to Davis.
From the East, exit at Mace Blvd. & turn left at the light onto Mace.
From the West, exit at Mace Blvd & turn left at the light onto Chiles Rd, then turn right onto Mace Blvd.
Proceed 4 mi south on Mace Blvd. Where Tremont Road meets Mace Blvd, turn left into the parking lot.
