The time has come again for the War College / Wargy 2-day event!  Experience amazing classes on Saturday to hone your skills as a war unit, and increase your fighting prowess.  Informative classes are planned for both fighters and non-fighters.

But wait, there’s more!! Wargy Sunday - enjoy the now legendary all-day Res battle where you can put these new skills to good use.  As always using a layout of the Bay Area, each group that reserves a space will be assigned a piece of land to defend.  At the end of the day treasure will be awarded to each group who has one or more of the many treasure chests from the field, combined with their score in the noncombatant challenges.

Extra points will be awarded to the groups who enter, and even more points to the groups that win any of the following challenges to be judged during the Wargy:
    1. Food in the period style - that could have been carried into battle.
    2. A useful Fighter’s favor.
    3. A heroic poem composed onsite about the day’s fighting.
    4. Best Mercenary Pay offered at the event – (While physical items such as jewelry or armor will be returned, please bring sufficient food item samples for judging and to pay your Mercenaries.)
    5. A written explanation of a medieval science – minimum 2 pages – maximum 4.

Items can be dropped off with the Event Steward starting @ 5 p.m. Friday 2/2/18 thru 11 a.m. Sunday 2/4/18.

Each group who wishes to hold their own piece of the kingdom MUST have their commander RSVP to the Wargy event steward, Lydia Britannica, by the end of the 2 nd week of January midnight 01/13/18.  Locations will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each group claiming land also MUST bring the following things to the event:
    • Troops, hired or native – each team must have at least 5 heavy/missile fighters.
    • A war banner.
    • A treasure chest filled with fortunes worthy of the “pride” of the group.
    • Payment if you wish to hire troops!! (Mercenaries have been hired on site the day of at previous Wargies.)
    • War support by supplying the equivalent of at least 1 all-day marshal, and 1 all day support staff – gate work/hydration support etc., it can be broken up however you wish.

The WARGY Commanders will meet Sunday morning with the MIC at 9:15 a.m. Listen up will be at  9:30 a.m. SHARP.  The war will start at 10 a.m. on the dot and go for a maximum of 3 hours.

Not attached to a group or RSVP? No problem Mercenaries are period!!!  Saturday night groups with reservations will have the opportunity to vie for your services.

We are planning donation fundraiser lunches each day – to benefit the Kingdom new Crowns fund and Napa and Sonoma County fire relief.
