Fettburg Mid-Summer Feast And Rapier Championship

Baron Turstan and Baroness Tamar invite the populace to celebrate our Midsummer Feast and Rapier Tournament! Cynagua’s only indoor summer tourament will be held during feast. Show off your skill, have fun and stay cool. The annual Bard of Fettburg competition will also be held.

We call upon the rapier fighters of the kingdom to compete for Rapier Champion of Fettburg. Sharpen your blades and come dressed in your finest and take the challenge!

We will also be hosting the annual Bard of Fettburg Competition. We will update the presentations for the competition soon.

And there shall be the first Fettburg Iron Artisan Competition What is the Iron Artisan Competition, you ask? You will choose a mystery bag full of goodies from which you must create an Arts/Science project relating to one of the Knightly Virtues! You will be given a set time frame to complete the project during the event. Projects will be displayed during Court. Winner to be announced during Court. A Mystery Prize will be unveiled to the First Fettburg Iron Artisan! Bring your creativity, some imagination, and channel your inner Virtues! No crafting skills required! Come learn a new talent and show off your amazing abilities!

Bring your SCA coin! Or, purchase some from the Fettburg Mint! We will be providing games of chance (and some skill) for your pleasure. Coin will be available for those who find themselves in need.

A&S classes will be presented on period cooking between 1pm and 3pm.

The feast will be served at 5:30 pm. The menu for the Feast shall be posted on the Fettburg Face book page. There will be off-board seating during the feast available.

Directions: 

From Sacramento, the Bay Area, and the West San Joaquin Valley: Take your best route to I-5, Manteca. Take Hwy 120 East. Exit on Union Rd and turn left, crossing over the overpass.

** You will pass Yosemite Ave, then turn right on Center St, turn Left onto Cherry Ln. The site is on the Left side of the Street just past the Manteca Police Department.

From Modesto and all points South East: Take Hwy 99 North. Then take the Hwy 120 West exit towards San Francisco. Take the Union Rd exit. Turn right onto Union. Follow from **.

From Lodi, Elk Grove and all points North East: Take Hwy 99 South. Hwy 99 has construction going on and the Main St. exit is no more. Take the Lathrop Rd. exit and head West on Lathrop Rd to Union Rd. Turn Left and continue on Union till they reach Center St. Then turn Left onto Center. Go two blocks and turn left onto Cherry Ln.  The Senior Center is on left behind the Police station.
