Hail All! I'm Karius, your friendly kingdom webminister.
By now you may have heard about email being an issue getting too or from officers.
The webteam has investigated, implemented, tested and documented a solution. That solution involves officers creating a westkingdom.org email address. We are fortunate enough to have qualified for Google Apps for Business and we have moved the majority of our email traffic and processing to them. We feel this is a boon for the populace, as it gives us access to a host of tools, centralized and available to everyone. The primary benefit, once the officers have all completed the process, is that email between the webserver and the email system does not have to rely on other networks to be forward to the correct officer. The underlying technical details are complicated and I don't want to take up too much of your time - you can read the details of the process in the document attached to this missive.
My main goal here is to give you an overview of the process and provide in-depth documentation on how to accomplish it. More will come later on how we can leverage Google Apps for Business to help every group in the kingdom get things done.
The Process:
- Register with this website, if you haven't already
- Obtain your @westkingdom.org email address and set the delivery preference
- Activate your @westkingdom.org email address
- Test that the forwarding for your office works properly
- Email the webministers, or fill out the contact form on this website, letting us know it's working, or not - we want to help you.

There are some other things that can be done to improve the internet presence of this great kingdom.
- If you're a seneschal or webminister of your local group, you can start the process of moving off external webhosting and move to the Grand Unified Web presence. Contact webministers for details regarding that.
- Encourage other officers and Regnum to obtain their @westkingdom address.
- Send construtive suggestions to the Webteam on things that can be improved or updated.
- Volunteer your time and join the Webteam. We would be excited to work with you! We can use help in all areas.
