Crested Helm Tourney & Feast

Create a most glorious crest for your helm and dare all entrants to knock it from its perch. Join in feasting and tales of the tourney to close the evening.

In the annals of history, the Canton Inbhir na Da Abhann celebrated a time of feasting and fighting. In celebration of that day, the Barony of Selviergard invites fighters and artisans to join in the revelry. A feast featuring a selection of dishes made from hearrty fare from the lands of the Barony will be offered in the evening. A Crested Helm Tourney for both heavy and rapier fighters will be held during the afternoon before the feast. This tourney is one that displays both the skills of the fighter and artisan. A crest for the helm is the required entry to the tourney. Prizes will be awarded for "Most Splendiferous Crest", "Most Period Looking Crest" and "Judges' Favorite Crest."  In this tourney the fighter will be penalized for killing their opponent. The idea is to kill the crest on your opponent's helm. Points will be given for maiming the crest, crushing the crest and obliterating the crest. Keep in mind that points will be taken away if you kill your opponent.
