(Event Cancelled) Hawks Haven Falcons Treaty and Archery Tourney

Saturday February 20th, 2021
Gilroy, California

Archers and Rapier enthusiasts, prepare your points and blades for contests under the shade of the mighty oak. Come join the Canton of Hawk's Haven for a day of archery, rapier, games, food and fun!

This year we return to the Houts’ Alpaca Farm, 8485 Burchell Road, Gilroy. As a working alpaca farm, this is a no-dogs site.

For Archery, this is a period or historic archery shoot open to members and non-members alike. Please bring your recurve, cross, long or short bows. Some loaner gear will be available. Compound bows will not be permitted. Arrows must be wooden shafts with feather fletching. Randal of Camusferna is our archery range master. Archery pre-registration helps move the contest along, and those pre-registered will be placed in the first few rounds. Pre-register at grym@westkingdom.org. Members of Darkwood may shoot for the coveted "Hood" and become a member of the Baronial Company of Archers. Others may compete with permission from their Excellencies.

As always, we will have "A Taste of Hawks Haven" Period Cooking Competition, populace judged. Contribute to the bounty of the Taste of Hawk’s Haven. A side table will also be available to carry contributed eatables.

Pre-registration rounds start at 9:30 AM. Regular rounds will begin at 10am, sharp.
