The Chatelain is responsible for assisting newcomers to the SCA and serves as the public information officer for the group.
The Oerthan Art and Sciences Championship consists of a series of six competitions over the course of the Principality annual event calendar. This is to determine the individual with the foremost skill in the medieval Arts and Sciences.
Starting with Summer Coronet and Investiture, one competition will be scheduled each Coronet and one at each of four events within the Principality. Each competition will draw from one of six categories:
The Exchequer is an appointed official, performing the duties of treasurer for the local chapter.
The Stellanordica Herald is the principal herald for the Principality of Oertha. Stellanordica duties include assisting with name research (onomastics) and the design, registration, and display of devices ('coats of arms'). Stellanordica may also serve as the "Voice of Prince" or other royalty by assisting at court or making general announcements.

The Rapier Marshal is responsible for all rapier activities in the group.
The Heavy Marshal oversees all aspects of rattan combat.
Their Highnesses call upon the populace of Oertha to join them for a weekend full of tournaments and Viking fun before the warm summer breezes give way to the harsh winter winds.<
The seneschal is the legal representative of a branch. Seneschals sign all contracts, make sure that things are done pursuant to the restrictions of all modern laws, corpora and kingdom law, work with the chatelaines to handle all public relations, and normally conduct the business meetings.
