CYNAGUA ARCHERY CHAMPIONSHIP and DRAKES COLLEGIUM Two great events in one: Cynagua Archery Championship and Drakes Collegium are combined! What? You say you don’t shoot, poke or cut and thrust? No problem. Bring your needles, pliers, quills or other implements of choice and work on your A&S projects while watching the competitors. New to the SCA or do you know someone SCA curious? Some general classes for newcomers are planned (details TBD). Cynagua Archery Championship Calling all archers! Join us on shaded paths under the towering trees as we seek the next Cynagua archery champion. Whether you want to compete for the championship or just shoot for fun all are welcome. If by some miracle it rains, the competition for champion with still be held. Shooting will include walking a field course in the morning (about 10:00-12:00) and shooting a target range in the afternoon (about 1:30-3:30). To compete for the championship you must be 18 years of age and reside within the borders of the fair Principality of Cynagua. Championship contestants must bring their own equipment and be able to run the championship shoot next year. The Morning shall be dedicated to Classes taught by some of our best fighters in the Kingdom. With the afternoon packed with fighting. 5 maybe 6 tournaments are planned, A Dedicated long sword C&T tournament, Swiss five tournament, Bridesmaid tournament, standard C&T as well as a standard list. All tournaments shall either be Round Robin or Alantian speed Tournament or a mix of the two.
