Good travelers, check your baggage, light your lanterns, and prepare to cross the threshold. The harvest is gathered, the winter frost approaches, and for one night only, the line between the mortal world and the deep past grows thin… The Barony of Selviergard invites one and all to our annual Samhain and Harvest Fest! This year, we gather at the beautiful, historic Palmer Train Depot, transformed for the evening into a bustling medieval waystation at the edge of the known world.
Whether you are a weary pilgrim seeking a warm hearth or a bold adventurer looking to challenge fate, there is a place for you at our fire. Come enjoy an evening of hilarious tavern games, an interactive harvest feast, and a showcase of our realm’s finest talents. Throughout the day brave souls will be met with many challenges. They might discover their Soul Tether and claim a gift. Or test their resolve as they travel through the four challenges with companions chosen by Fate. They might bestow a gift upon a performance that moves their spirit or bask in the beautiful creations of our skilled Artisans. Those who are brave enough are encouraged to enter the Trials of Sword and Heavy Combat. Fighters shall be summoned for a task of great mercy: the Rescue of the Pledged Spirits. Only through showings of great skill and adaptability might our fighters keep their charge sheltered from harm and carry them to safety.
As the daylight wanes and our mortal bodies grow famished, everyone is invited to join in a Feast of food to nourish the body and warm company to nourish the soul. Those who can are invited to bring a dish but everyone is invited to share the Feast whether they brought a dish or not. (A Feast sign-up sheet will be shared closer to the event)
