Come and celebrate the end of summer and the last large harvest of the year at Eskalya’s Samhain party! Warm up the cold night with a potluck feast and cooking A&S contest! The A&S contest theme is Harvest Foods. Cook your favorite recipe containing seasonal bounties like apples, nuts, cabbage, kale, wheat, and pumpkin (note: a guest judge will be used for any pumpkin dishes because one of the stewards is allergic). The site’s kitchen will be available for use and refrigerator storage or reheating if needed (We just have to clean up before we depart). In order to protect our festivities during the thinning of the veil, we will also be hosting a scary mask (or costume) contest! From fearsome beasties to mythical creatures to clever disguises – show us how you would frighten or trick the mischievous spirits of the night. We are planning on calling contestants up to show off their creations to the populace in a pageant style, but judging will be based on the craft of the mask or costume. Be sure to keep an eye out for hidden tarot cards throughout the site! The cards do have a short description on them, but feel free to present any card you find to one of the stewards for a deeper peak into your found fortune. There will also be contests for the fighters throughout the night. Come watch the strong and the swift show off their skill and compete for the prizes available! There will be handmade prizes for each contest: cooking, mask/costume, heavy fighting, and rapier fighting.

From the North – Take the Seward HWY south. Take the O’Malley Rd Exit.. Turn left onto O’Malley. Turn Right onto Elmore Rd and Amazing Grace Lutheran’s driveway will be the first one on the Left.
