Mists Spring Investiture

Their Highnesses Prince Antonii Machinevik and Princess Helga Skaldmaer do cordially invite you to witness the Investiture of Their Heirs. A marvelous feast to celebrate Them will be made by Aaliz de Saint-Joseph and Seraphina.

Competitions will include:

Silver Spoon: The cooking theme for the Silver Spoon this year is FOUR FOOD GROUPS. The competition for Spring Investiture: MEATS!! Any period dish made with Meat. As always, this is a NO WRITTEN DOCUMENTATION competition, but you should come prepared to speak about your dish, where the recipe comes from, redactions, what worked, what did not, what you would do differently. Remember a competition is when there is more than one dish entered. The competitors will be the judges. The time of the competition will be announced in morning court.

Feast tickets are $15 per person and checks should be made payable to “SCA – Principality of the Mists”. Tickets for the feast will be on sale by mail from the Event Steward, and must be purchased in advance. Mailing address:

From the East Bay and South: Take 880 to exit 2 for 82 South/The Alameda in San Jose. Turn left onto 82 South/The Alameda. Turn right onto West Hedding Street. Turn left onto Morse Street. The church will be on your right.
From the North: Take 101 South to 87/Guadalupe Parkway. Take 87 South to exit 7 for Taylor Street. Keep right at the fork to merge onto West Taylor Street. Continue onto Naglee Avenue. Turn right onto Morse Street. The church will be on the left.
