This year’s War Practice / Wargy 2-day event will again be at the same amazing location as last year - San Luis Reservoir, North Beach Picnic area, near Gustine/Santa Nella, California!
We are still looking for 2 groups/households/etc. to host fundraiser lunches both days, please contact Event Steward: Lydia to volunteer wargy@westkingdom.org
On Saturday, the field is open to hone your skills as a war unit and increase your fighting prowess. Bring your ideas and war units, and train together!
To gain more practice with these new skills - Wargy Sunday - enjoy the now legendary all-day res battle where you can put these new skills to good use. As always using a layout of the Bay Area, each group that reserves a space will be assigned a piece of land to defend. At the end of the day treasure will be awarded to each group who has one or more of the many treasure chests from the field. Various other individual and group awards will also be awarded. Groups can have their own land to defend by being sponsored by an official branch or are a group that holds a Pillar of the West.
Each group who wishes to hold their own piece of the kingdom can begin on December 3, 2018 (12/03/18) by having their commander RSVP to the Wargy event steward, Lydia Britannica. All groups MUST RSVP, by the end of the 2nd week of January midnight 01/12/19. WE HOPE TO ANNOUNCE SOME OF THE GROUPS AT 12TH NIGHT! Locations will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each Melee Team MUST bring the following things to the event:
Troops, hired or native – each team must have a minimum of 5 fighters.
A war banner.
A treasure chest filled with fortunes worthy of the “pride” of the group.
Payment if you wish to hire troops!! (Mercenaries have been hired on site the day of at previous Wargys.)
War support by supplying the equivalent of at least 1 all-day marshal, and 1 all day support staff – gate work/hydration support etc., it can be broken up however you wish.
The WARGY Commanders will meet Sunday morning with the MIC (Krysta of Starfall) at 9:15 a.m. Listen up will be at 9:30 a.m. SHARP. The war will start at 10 a.m. on the dot and go for a maximum of 3 hours.
Not attached to a group or RSVP? No problem! Mercenaries are period!!! Saturday night groups with reservations will have the opportunity to vie for your services.
