So, you’re a fighter, huh? Do you enjoy learning a new Arts and Science skill? Want to teach? Then get off the couch, throw your armor, your friend, your drink of choice, and a peer in the car with you! Meet-and-Beat is here! This event is built to promote and encourage training in and out of armor for heavy and rapier, as well as promoting Arts and Sciences fun! If you are an unbelt, we challenge you to get a knight or another fighter to join you! This will be amazing training and open formatted fighting opportunity where you can push yourself and your friends. The more the merrier! There will be class tracks for heavy fighting, arts and sciences, and rapier.
The first half of the day will be divided into 60 min classes. Classes will start at 10:30 am. There will be a donation lunch at 12:30 that is set up with easy to grab and go food. This lunch is sponsored by Canale, all proceeds go back to the group. After lunch, it is time to put those things learned earlier in the day into practice. This will be done as an open format fighter practice where everyone can train together fast or slow, in or out of armor. It is highly encouraged for students and teachers to talk about what they are learning or teaching in a less formal format. Arts and Sciences will continue into the afternoon for A&S learning and fun!
