Good gentles, come dancing!
The 2015 Crosston Ball will occur at the lovely History Club of Los Gatos. Classes will begin at 2 PM and continue to 5 PM, when we will pause for an informal potluck dinner (bring something, share with your friends!).
The ball itself will be 6-10 PM. There will be no theme, simply dancing, of all manners and types; from the flashing energy of Master Caroso's cascarde, to the serene elegance of the bassedances of Burgundy or the stately paces of England's Old Measures. A preliminary list of dances and classes can be found on our website.
There will be no site fee; donations are, as always, greatly appreciated, but if one isn't financially practical that's fine! Come anyway! We want to dance with you! If you play an instrument, please feel free to bring it – the dance band would love to have you! Contact the autocrat for more details.
Please join the West Kingdom College of Dance and Music facebook group for general information about music and dance in the West Kingdom.
Please wear shoes with non-marking soles. Beer, wine and champagne are permitted with discretion.
This year, the Ball is being run by Rebecca da Firenze.
