Unto the Populace of the West,
Their Majesties, Miles and Jitka, invite one and all to come and bear witness to the Coronation of Their heirs. Come celebrate the grand traditions of the West with courts, arts, sciences, fighting, singing, dancing, and archery. This event will take place in Red Bluff at Camp Discovery, a beautiful campground with cabins next to the Sacramento River, with a grove of beautiful trees in which the gentle breezes play.
This year Beltane and Cynagua-Mist War will be held at the same site, a week apart, so we are going to have an in-between camp. If you are planning on attending both events, you may leave your camp unoccupied or stay and enjoy the event. The Event Steward will be on site the whole time.
Any changes and additional information about competitions, special activities, etc., will be included on the West Kingdom calendar link and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/688293852171861/ and the Beltane-War website https://sites.google.com/westkingdom.org/beltanecyn-mistswar/activities
From Gwendwyn the Silent:
The Shire of Thistletorr will hold a pancake breakfast fundraiser on Sunday May 1st, from 8-10 am. To be able to host an event in the 2023 season, we need to raise funds. For your kind donations to our coffers, we will be serving pancakes (regular or gluten free) with a variety of toppings, scotch eggs (or whole hard cooked eggs), and coffee. We will be located under the first permanant pavilion, the one closest to gate. Questions/ concerns please contact Gwendwyn the Silent at bulotki@yahoo.com.
