Come join us at Ducal Prize as the Kingdom Historical Trust Inc. (KHTI) celebrates owning our new permanent site and moving closer & closer to permitted use. While this year's Ducal Prize is not held on our new site, the money raised will go towards developing and maintaining it.
For the first time, Ducal Prize will host Meet N Beat! Countess Annora Raines is heading up an amazing TWO days of fighting, rapier, learning and practicing. If you have an idea for classes, wish to volunteer to teach, or have any questions about Meet N Beat, please contact Countess Annora.
By tradition we will kick-off Friday evening with the Special Request Bardic. The Bardic Theme for Saturday's Filk competition will be: 'Queen'. Yes, Queen the band, bands with the word Queen in their name, Queen in the title of the Song — as long as there is 'Queen' it works, and can be filked.
The rest of the weekend will be filled with games for kids and adults, archery, armored combat, rapier combat, bardic, auctions, raffles, a Casbah, and the famous Ducal garage sale. For more information on activities watch the Facebook event page
Donations (physical or promissory) for the casbah, auction, and garage sale are welcome. If you have any questions about whether an item would make a good donation or for drop-off locations, please contact the Event Steward. We have already received donations, and are looking for more.
Because of Meet N Beat, I would like to host a 'Rusty' Rummage Sale for our new fighters. So if you have armor or fighter related paraphernalia that you would like to donate, please contact us.
Pets are welcome with normal leash rules. RV sites are available at the adjacent RV Park. And hotels & stores are within driving distance. There are power stands, flushables & showers. The site is hilly, but has multiple roads and pathways for accessibility.
